The Visit Barberini Palace ticket also covers Galleria Corsini for 20 days. Corsini is across the city in Trastevere, so treat it as a second outing.

Ramp, lift, one gallery level

The entrance is barrier-free. A ramp and a panoramic lift take you up to the galleries on the first floor, and every exhibition room is on that one level.

A wheelchair is available on request, and there is accessible parking for disabled visitors. Guide dogs are welcome.

What to leave at the cloakroom

Handbags, backpacks, and umbrellas have to be left in the cloakroom before you head up to the galleries. The lockers are 40 x 40 x 40 cm.

Suitcases are not allowed. If you are coming straight from the station, leave your luggage somewhere else first.

Open without a gallery ticket

Serre Barberini is a cafe and restaurant in the palace's late-19th-century greenhouse, probably designed by Francesco Azzurri. It is open Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Entry is free, and there is free Wi-Fi.

Next door is the labyrinth garden, also open without a museum ticket. Look for the little cork house, and for the granite Egyptian stele of Amon-Ra along the avenue toward Via XX Settembre. It came from the temple of Isis in Campo Marzio.
